इसी साल 5 जनवरी को प्रधानमंत्री मोदी पंजाब के फिरोजपुर के दौरे पर गए थे. इस दौरान किसानों के प्रदर्शन की वजह से उनका काफिला पंजाब के फिरोजपुर मोगा रोड पर फ्लाईओवर पर फंस गया था. प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी की सुरक्षा में चूक के मामले को लेकर जस्टिस इंदु मलहोत्रा की अध्यक्षता वाली कमेटी ने कोर्ट को अपनी रिपोर्ट सौंप दी है.
