In Dabangg, Sonu Sood had played the bad guy while Dabangg 2 had the impressive Prakash Raj playing the villain. However, it seems that this time, the makers want to try something different with Dabangg 3.

Arbaaz Khan, who is currently working on the script of the third film in the series, reportedly wants to have a female antagonist locking horns with Salman Khan's Chulbul Pandey character. There is also a buzz that the makers had approached Kajol for the role, but it seems that the Bong beauty turned it down for reasons known best to her.
