...And the “Daawat-e-Ishq Food Yatra” begins!
Aditya and Parineeti kick-started the Yatra from one of Mumbai’s most famous morning food joints - Cafe Madras (in Matunga). After indulging in an enjoyable breakfast of Vada Sambhar, Idli Butter Pudi, Butter Dosa, Set Dosa and the famous ‘Kaapi’.
The Daawat-e-Ishq pair was fuelled up for a bike ride from Mumbai to Charoti enroute to Talasari passing by great weather, lush greenery, picturesque streams and lots of fresh air!
A hearty lunch stop at Parsi-da-Dhaba beckoned Aditya and Parineeti who indulged in Parsi delicacies Keema half-fry, Patra-ni-Machchi, Mutton Dhansak before heading to Surat. A sea of crowd was ready with open arms to welcome the pair at Shree Balaji Janta Ice Cream Centre known for its inventive and original flavours.
A long ride to Ahmedabad followed with a quick stopover dinner at Hotel Honest known to avid road travellers in Gujarat.
Lots to follow in Day 2... kem chho Ahmedabad!

A shoe-sales girl, disillusioned with love because of her encounters with dowry-seeking men and a cook, who can charm anybody with the aroma and flavours of his biryani and kebabs, come face to face in the clash of diametrically opposite but equally spicy cultures of Hyderabad and Lucknow.
In her quest to find her Mr. Universe, she comes up against "Big Boss Hyderi Kebab" and in the process of arriving at a "tuning-setting", Gullu and Taru rewrite traditional recipes of love, crush old-fashioned world-views and make their own masaledaar albeli pichchar... a deliciously romantic Daawat-e-Ishq!
