Cyclone Michaung Landfall Live: दक्षिण भारत में चक्रवाती तूफान मिचौंग का कहर दिखाई देने लगा है. बंगाल की खाड़ी से 2 दिसंबर को उठा साइक्लोन मिचौंग आज देश के दक्षिणी हिस्से में किनारों से टकराने वाला है. दोपहर 12 बजे से पहले आंध्र प्रदेश और तमिलनाडु के तट से टकराएगा. इस दौरान हवा की रफ्तार 90 से 110 किलोमीटर प्रति घंटे तक हो सकती है. IMD ने बताया कि तूफान का असर ओडिशा, तमिलनाडु, आंध्र प्रदेश, तेलंगाना और पुदुचेरी में रहेगा. भारी की आशंका के बीच मौसम विभाग अलग अलग राज्यों में अलर्ट जारी किया है. मिचौंग तूफान के कारण कई राज्यों में भारी बारिश का अलर्ट जारी किया गया है. ओडिशा, तमिलनाडु, आंध्र प्रदेश, तेलंगाना और पुडुचेरी में इस तूफान का असर दिखने वाला है. मिचौंग तूफान ने अगर सबसे ज्यादा असर कहीं दिखाया है तो वो है तमिलनाडु की राजधानी चेन्नई. चेन्नई में बाढ़ जैसे हालात हैं और अब तक पांच लोगों की जान जा चुकी है. जबकि, राहत और बचाव में लगी टीमों ने 300 लोगों को बचा लिया है. चेन्नई इंटरनेशनल एयरपोर्ट की तस्वीरों ने तो पूरे देश को हैरान कर दिया है. पानी भरने की वजह से रनवे बंद कर दिया गया है. लगातार बारिश के कारण हवाईअड्डे पर आने और जाने वाली लगभग 70 उड़ानें रद्द कर दी गई हैं. खराब मौसम के चलते चेन्नई एयरपोर्ट पर ऑपरेशन बंद कर दिया गया है. भारी बारिश से रेल सेवा भी अस्त-व्यस्त हो ही गई है और 145 ट्रेनें रद्द कर दी गई हैं.

Cyclone Michaung, which threw life out of gear in several places in Tamil Nadu, especially Chennai, on Monday (December 4), is likely to make landfall on Tuesday, crossing the south Andhra Pradesh coast between Nellore and Machilipatnam in the form of a severe cyclonic storm, according to the weather department.

In a series of posts on X, on their official handle, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Tuesday posted, "Severe Cyclonic Storm “MICHAUNG” (pronounced as MIGJAUM) over Westcentral Bay of Bengal off south Andhra Pradesh and adjoining north Tamilnadu coasts moved north-northwestwards with a speed of 07 kmph during past 06 hours and lay centered at 0230 hours IST of 5 Dec, 2023, about 20 km north-northeast of Nellore, 170 km north of Chennai, 150 km south of Bapatla and 210 km south-southwest of Machilipatnam.
