22 जनवरी को अयोध्या के राम मंदिर में प्राण प्रतिष्ठा कार्यक्रम होना है. इस कार्यक्रम को लेकर तमाम दिग्गजों को निमंत्रण भेजा जा रहा है. इसी कड़ी में कांग्रेस की दिग्गज नेता सोनिया गांधी को भी निमंत्रण भेजा गया है. लेकिन सोनिया गांधी ने इस निमंत्रण को अस्वीकार कर दिया है. उन्होंने निमंत्रण अस्वीकार करने के लिए आरएसएस का हवाला दिया है.
