यूपी के मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने कहा कि ढांचे को मस्जिद नहीं कहा जाना चाहिए क्योंकि इससे विवाद पैदा होगा। "यह ज्ञानवापी है और हमें इसे यही कहना चाहिए। अगर मैं इसे मस्जिद कहूंगा, तो इससे विवाद पैदा हो जाएगा। मामला अदालत में है और वहां इसकी निगरानी की जा रही है। और अब उच्च न्यायालय ने ज्ञानवापी मामले में एएसआई सर्वेक्षण का आदेश दिया है।"

UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath said that the structure shouldn't be called a mosque as that that would lead to controversy. "It is Gyanvapi and we must call it that. If I call it a masjid, it'll lead to controversy. The matter is in court and is being monitored there. And now high court has ordered ASI survey in the Gyanvapi matter.
