लोकसभा चुनाव के सातवें चरण के मतदान से पहले धर्म के आधार पर आरक्षण के मुद्दे पर मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने कांग्रेस समेत इंडी गठबंधन के दलों पर एक बार फिर हमला बोला है। इस मामले में कांग्रेस का इतिहास दागी बताते हुए तथा समाजवादी पार्टी को तुष्टिकरण की हद पार करने वाली पार्टी करार देते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि धर्म के आधार पर आरक्षण भारतीय संविधान की मूल भावना के विपरीत और पूरी तरह असंवैधानिक कृत्य है।

Describing the history of Congress as tainted in this matter and calling Samajwadi Party a party that has crossed the limits of appeasement, he said that reservation on the basis of religion is contrary to the basic spirit of the Indian Constitution and is a completely unconstitutional act.
