On Thursday, Isro confirmed that another instrument of the Pragyan rover has found sulphur in the region -- the south pole of the moon -- through another technique. Two techniques confirming sulphur in the south pole region of the moon where Chandrayaan 3 successfully landed on August 23 will compel the scientists to explain the source of sulphur on the moon -- whether it is intrinsic or volcanic or meteoric.

चंद्रयान 3 ने चांद के साउथ पोल इलाके में 23 अगस्त को लैंडिंग की थी. मिशन के तहत विक्रम लैंडर (Vikram Lander) और प्रज्ञान रोवर चांद पर रोज नए नए तत्व खोज रहे हैं. अब चंद्रयान 3 के रोवर में लगे दूसरे पेलोड ने भी चांद पर सल्फर की पुष्टि की है. इससे पहले एक और पेलोड चांद पर पेलोड का पता लगा चुका है. इससे पहले प्रज्ञान रोवर ने खोजा था कि दक्षिण ध्रुव इलाके में ऑक्सीजन है.
