भारत का तीसरा चंद्र मिशन तेजी से चंद्रमा की ओर बढ़ रहा है. अंतरिक्ष यान का लैंडर मॉड्यूल अब चंद्रमा की सतह से सिर्फ 157 किमी दूर है. भारतीय अंतरिक्ष अनुसंधान संगठन (ISRO) ने शुक्रवार (18 अगस्त) को कहा कि चंद्र मॉड्यूल ने पहली डीबूस्टिंग से गुजरने के बाद अपनी कक्षा को 113 किमी x 157 किमी तक कम कर दिया है. वहीं, इसका दूसरा डीबूस्टिंग ऑपरेशन 20 अगस्त 2023 को लगभग 2 बजे होगा. इसके बाद धीरे-धीरे मॉड्यूल को चंद्र कक्षा में उतारा जाएगा, जहां से उसकी सॉफ्ट लैंडिंग का प्रयास किया जाएगा.

The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) on Friday (August 18) said that the lunar module has reduced its orbit to 113 km x 157 km after undergoing the first deboosting. At the same time, its second deboosting operation will take place on 20 August 2023 at around 2 pm. After this, gradually the module will be lowered into the lunar orbit, from where its soft landing will be attempted.
