न्यूयॉर्क में सलमान रुश्दी पर हमला हुआ है. सलमान रुश्दी न्यूयॉर्क में लेक्चर देने जा रहे थे और इसी बीच हमलावर ने उन पर पर चाकू से कई बार वार किया. न्यूयॉर्क पुलिस ने हमलावर को हिरासत में भी ले लिया है. फिलहाल जानकारी ये है कि हेलीकॉप्टर से सलमान रुश्दी को अस्पताल ले जाया गया है.
