पंजाब के सीएम पद से इस्तीफा देने से पहले कैप्टन अमरिंदर सिंह ने पार्टी अध्यक्ष सोनिया गांधी को चिट्ठी लिखी थी और 5 महीने से जारी घटनाक्रम को लेकर नाराजगी जताई थी. कैप्टन ने चिट्ठी में अपनी सरकार की उपलब्धियां भी गिनाईं.

Before resigning from the post of Punjab CM, Captain Amarinder Singh had written a letter to party president Sonia Gandhi and expressed displeasure over the ongoing developments for five months. The Captain also counted the achievements of his government in the letter.
