British Prime Minister Liz Truss has resigned from the post of PM after open rebellion against her leadership in the Conservative Party. Outside Downing Street, she said, 'I have not been able to fulfill the mandate.' Truss said she has told King Charles that she is resigning as leader of the Conservative Party. Truss remained prime minister for only 45 days. This is the shortest tenure of any British Prime Minister.
