This is a special and traditional sweet dish prepared for Diwali festival in every household in India
Chickpea flour 1 cup
Salt as required
water as required
Oil to fry
Jaggery 1/2 cup
Water 2 tablespoons
Ghee 1/4 cup
Cashew nuts 10 number
Cardomom powder 1/2 tea spoon
1. First, take a bowl, add chickpea flour, salt and by adding water make it into a thin batter.
2. Now heat oil in a pan, pour the batter and cook the boondhi until it gets a light golden colour and keep aside.
3. Then take another pan, add jaggery, add some water and melt it till it gets a thick texture.
4. To that add ghee, cashew nuts and mix well.
5. Take a bhoondi add cardamom powder, mix and transfer into a jaggery syrup and mix well.
5. Now take a mould, pour the mixture, put the gashes and allow it cool for 15-20 mins.
6. Finally cut the burfi into pieces and serve.
