Bollywood was down in the dumps as far as the box office is concerned with three quarters of the year being eaten away by the coronavirus pandemic and the industry not doing itself any favour with its abject performance in the first quarter, delivering just three movies — Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, Malang and Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan — that turned over a profit.
