बिहार में नीतीश सरकार ने जातिगत जनगणना के आंकड़े जारी कर दिये. आंकड़ों के मुताबिक बिहार में पिछड़ी जातियों की संख्या 27 फीसदी और अति पिछड़ों की संख्या 36 फीसदी है. हिंदुओं की संख्या 82 और मुस्लिम जनसंख्या सिर्फ 18 फीसदी है
