भारतीय अंतरिक्ष अनुसंधान संगठन (इसरो) का चंद्रयान-3 मिशन शुक्रवार, 14 जुलाई को भारतीय समयानुसार दोपहर 2.35 बजे आंध्र प्रदेश के श्रीहरिकोटा स्थित सतीश धवन अंतरिक्ष केंद्र से सफलतापूर्वक रवाना हुआ। उड़ान भरने के सोलह मिनट बाद, प्रणोदन मॉड्यूल सफलतापूर्वक अलग हो गया। रॉकेट से और चंद्रमा की कक्षा की ओर बढ़ते हुए, पृथ्वी से 170 किमी निकटतम और 42,000 किमी दूर के साथ एक अण्डाकार चक्र में लगभग 5-6 बार पृथ्वी की परिक्रमा करेगा।

The Chandrayaan-3 mission by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) successfully lifted off from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh, at 2.35 PM IST on Friday, July 14. Sixteen minutes after lift-off, propulsion module successfully separated from the rocket and would orbit the earth for about 5-6 times in an elliptical cycle with 170 km closest and 42,000 km farthest from earth moving towards the lunar orbit.
