This besan halwa could be a perfect alternate of sooji halwa (Kesari). Some people would like it better than Suji ka halwa. It is a rich dish that needs more ghee to achieve the glossy smooth texture and cardamom powder to enhance the flavour. This halwa loaded with lots of nuts which make the dish a healthier one.
