Bajirao Mastani: Tanvi Azmi On Playing Radhabai, Ranveer Singh's Onscreen Mother

Tanvi Azmi, who has been a celebrated Film and TV actress, has been known to play some riveting characters. She played a mother in angst in Kajol-starrer, Dushman and has also played a character that's polar opposite in the Comedy TV Show, Family No. 1. She is best known for having portrayed a troubled doctor in the tele-series, Jeevanrekha and a young widow in the telefilm Rao Saheb. She has worked in Hindi, Marathi and Malayalam cinema in her career span.
Recently seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film Bajirao Mastani, Tanvi Azmi had come on board to play Radhabai, mother of Bajirao I, played by Ranveer Singh. She went bald for her role in the movie. Bajirao Mastani that released last weekend has been receiving a lot of applause from the audience along with its rival, Dilwale at the box office.
