महाराष्ट्र में राष्ट्रवादी कांग्रेस पार्टी (एनसीपी) के अजित पवार गुट के बड़े नेता बाबा सिद्दीकी की गोली मारकर हत्या कर दी गई है. ये हत्याकांड तब हुआ जब बाबा सिद्दीकी दशहरे के पर्व पर अपने मुंबई ऑफिस के सामने पटाखे फोड़ रहे थे. तीन हमलावरों ने बाबा सिद्दीकी पर गोलियां बरसाईं और उनकी जान ले ली. सलमान खान के घर की सुरक्षा बढ़ाई गई. बाबा सिद्दीकी की हत्या के बाद सुरक्षा बढ़ी।
