UK PM: भारतीय मूल के ऋषि सुनक अब ब्रिटेन के नए प्रधानमंत्री बन गए हैं. लंबे समय से ब्रिटेन में जारी सत्ता संघर्ष का निष्कर्ष सामने आते ही सुनक के चाहने वालों में खुशी की लहर दौड़ गई है. लिज ट्रस के इस्तीफे के बाद ऋषि सुनक प्रधानमंत्री बनने के लिहाज से सबसे मजबूत दावेदार थे. पीएम पद की दौड़ से पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री बोरिस जॉनसन के हटने के बाद यह तय माना जा रहा था कि सुनक ही ब्रिटेन के अगले पीएम होंगे. भारतीय मूल के 42 वर्षीय सुनक एकमात्र उम्मीदवार थे जिन्हें 100 से अधिक सांसदों का समर्थन प्राप्त था. 28 अक्टूबर को ऋषि सुनक ने ब्रिटेन के पीएम के तौर पर शपथ ली। जहां एक ओर भारत के प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने सुनक के प्रधानमंत्री बनने पर उन्हें बधाई दी। वहीं दूसरी ओर एक भारतीय के ब्रिटेन में पीएम बनने से पाकिस्तान को झटका लग गया।
