G20 देशों के विदेश मंत्रियों की बैठक के बीच रूस के विदेश मंत्री सर्गेई लावरोव ने पीएम मोदी से मुलाक़ात की और भारत की रुख की जमकर तारीफ़ की। सर्गेई लावारोव ने कहा कि युद्ध को लेकर भारत का स्टैंड काबिलेतारीफ था। उन्होंने कहा कि वो इस युद्ध को रोकने के लिए किसी भी गंभीर प्रस्ताव का स्वागत करते हैं। साथ ही लावारोव ने अमेरिका और NATO देशों के प्रस्ताव की आलोचना की और कहा कि ये प्रस्ताव रूस को चोट पहुंचाने के लिए लाया गया था।

Sergei Lavarov said that India's stand regarding the war was commendable. He said that he welcomes any serious proposal to stop this war. At the same time, Lavrov criticized the proposal of America and NATO countries and said that this proposal was brought to hurt Russia.
