पाकिस्तान स्थित आतंकवादी अब्दुल रहमान मक्की को सोमवार को संयुक्त राष्ट्र सुरक्षा परिषद (यूएनएससी) द्वारा वैश्विक आतंकवादी के रूप में सूचीबद्ध किया गया था। विकास भारत के बाद आता है, पिछले साल जून में, चीन को नारा दिया था, क्योंकि उसने मक्की को प्रतिबंध समिति के तहत सूचीबद्ध करने के प्रस्ताव को रोक दिया था, जिसे UNSC 1267 समिति के रूप में भी जाना जाता है। डिफॉल्ट होने की दहलीज़ पर खड़े पाकिस्तान के पीएम शहबाज़ शरीफ जहां भारत से बातचीत की अपील करते नज़र आए, तो वहीं पाकिस्तान के सदाबहार दोस्त चीन ने संयुक्त राष्ट्र में लश्कर के आतंकी अब्दुल रहमान मक्की को वैश्विक आतंकी घोषित किए जाने पर अपना विरोध खत्म कर लिया।

Pakistan-based militant Abdul Rehman Makki was listed as a global terrorist by the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) on Monday. The development comes after India, in June last year, slammed China after it blocked the proposal to list Makki under the Sanctions Committee, also known as the UNSC 1267 Committee. Pakistan's PM Shehbaz Sharif, standing on the threshold of default, was seen appealing for talks with India, while China, Pakistan's all-time friend, ended its opposition to the United Nations declaring Lashkar terrorist Abdul Rehman Makki as a global terrorist.
