कांग्रेस के राज्यसभा सांसद रणदीप सुरजेवाला ने हरियाणा के कैथल में बीजेपी को वोट देने वाली जनता को राक्षसी प्रवृत्ति का बता दिया. सुरजेवाला ने कहा कि बीजेपी को वोट देने वाले और उसके समर्थक राक्षसी प्रवृत्ति के हैं, मैं महाभारत की धरती से उनको श्राप देता हूं.
