बीजेपी ने लोकसभा चुनाव के लिए अपनी लिस्ट जारी की, लेकिन आज बंगाल के आसनसोल से बीजेपी के स्टार उम्मीदवार पवन सिंह ने अपना टिकट वापस कर दिया। उन्होंने सोशल मीडिया पर पोस्ट करके आसनसोल से चुनाव ना लड़ने की जानकारी दी। माना जा रहा है कि आसनसोल से टीएमसी उम्मीदवार शत्रुघन सिन्हा के दबाव में पवन सिंह ने चुनाव लड़ने से इनकार कर दिया। बताया जा रहा है कि विपक्षी नेताओं ने पवन सिंह के कुछ पुराने गानों को लेकर विवाद शुरू कर दिया था।
