तिरुपति लड्डू प्रसादम में जानवरों की चर्बी और मछली का तेल होने की खबर सामने आने के बाद पूरे देश में बवाल मच गया, देशभर के संतों और हिन्दू संगठन से जुड़े लोगों ने इस पर गहरी नाराज़गी जताते हुए इसे धर्म भ्रष्ट करने की साज़िश बताया, साथ ही पूरे मामले की जांच की मांग भी की, वहीं इस मामले में सियासत भी तेज़ हो गई, आंध्र के पूर्व सीएम जगन मोहन रेड्डी ने सभी आरोपों से इनकार करते हुए इसे चंद्रबाबू नायडू की राजनीति का हिस्सा बताया।
