Anurag Kashyap, who is quite miffed with the Censor Board for not being fair to his upcoming production ‘Udta Punjab’, gushed about the film during a recent media interaction and said that it is the most ‘honest’ film he has ever seen.

Talking about the film, Kashyap, who shot to fame with ‘Black Friday’, a gritty and realistic film about the 1993 bomb blasts, said, “Udta Punjab is the most honest film I have ever seen… It is more honest than my film Black Friday and whoever has any issue with this film, has to be corrupt. We want the film to be released without any cuts and we will fight for it if need be.”

Starring Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt and Diljit Dosanjh, ‘Udta Punjab’ revolves around rampant drug abuse in Punjab.
