Akki's upcoming film is not a remake of Argo but we hear it is indeed inspired from the Ben Affleck starrer which swept away the best picture award at the 85th Academy Awards

Akshay Kumar and director Neeraj Pandey's last film together Special 26 was highly appreciated by both critics and audience alike. So we aren't surprised that talented filmmaker decided to rope in Khiladi Kumar in his next as well. While the film is yet to be named, we hear Akshay's next with Neeraj will be on the lines of Hollywood political thriller Argo which was directed by Ben Affleck. While talking to a leading tabloid, a source said, "Getting inspired by various Hollywood films is not new to Bollywood. The latest one to join this bandwagon is Neeraj Pandey, whose next film with Akshay Kumar is apparently based on Ben Affleck's Academy Award winning film, 'Argo'." Sounds interesting, hai na?

AK has already started working on the film which will release in early 2015. While Ben Affleck's Argo won the Oscar last year, will Akshay's flick manage to woo the audience? Will it walk away with the National award? Only time will tell but we certainly can't wait to see what the Khiladi of Bollywood has got in store for us!
