Akshay Kumar & Miss World Manushi Chillar To Romance In Prithiviraj Chauhan Biopic?

Several beauty queens like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Sushmita Sen, Priyanka Chopra and Lara Dutta forayed into Bollywood after completing their reign and now, we hear that former Miss World Manushi Chillar too is all set to mark her Bollywood debut with Prithiviraj Chauhan biopic opposite Akshay Kumar.

Manushi won the coveted Miss World titled in 2017 and has a massive fan following across the globe. We hear that she will be playing the role of Prithviraj Chauhan’s wife Sanyogita in the period drama.

Yash Raj Films is producing the project and while they are keeping things hush-hush for now, they will be making an official announcement soon. Buzz has it that Manushi has already started preparing for her role.

Reportedly, Manushi was also offered the lead role opposite Suniel Shetty’s son Ahan in his debut movie, which is a remake of Telugu blockbuster RX100. However, sources claim that Chillar turned down the offer as she felt that venturing into Bollywood with a newcomer would be risky and ‘too much of a pressure.’ Therefore, she wanted to mark her debut opposite an established star. Neither, Manushi nor YRF has confirmed the reports, yet.

The film will be directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi.
