Ranbanka, an action-thriller directed by debutant Aryeman Ramsay, features popular host of several TV shows Manish Paul, debutante Pooja Thakur, Bhojpuri and Hindi film actor Ravi Kishan and Rudra Kaushish in the lead roles.
The film tells the story of Rahul Sharma played by Manish Paul who is an engineer working in Mumbai and while on a tour to Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, along with his wife Priya played by Pooja Thakur and child Aayush encounters immense trouble. The family is advised about the most-feared man in Mathura, Raghav played by Ravi Kishan before entering Mathura. But destiny has other plans for them as Raghav falls in love with Priya the moment he lays his eyes upon her and puts her into a dilemma. How the story unfolds from here remains to be seen.
The trio in the interview talk about their roles, how the film came about, how Manish Paul was chosen for this role and much more. First-timer Pooja plays a strong character in the film and the director, Aryeman also mouths one of her dialogues from the film. When asked about where his film stands amidst the other bigger banner films, Aryeman takes a dig on Shaandaar's recent flop and promises that his film is good and will be well-received by the audience.
Akshay Kumar is a close friend of Aryeman's and has liked the promo of the film. Komal Nahta also seeks Aryeman's views on a pre-Diwali release where he makes his point by saying that he can't compete with a Salman Khan film, hence the decision of releasing the film in the pre-Diwali phase was taken. The film is releasing on November 06, 2015
