Akshay Kumar Gets Nostalgic As He Shoots Bike Stunts On The Streets Of Bangkok For Sooryavanshi

After Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh, now Akshay Kumar has joined Rohit Shetty’s cop universe. Akshay is playing the titular role in Rohit’s upcoming cop-drama Sooryavanshi.

The film’s team is presently shooting in Bangkok, Thailand and Akshay performed some bike stunts on the streets of Bangkok. The superstar got quite nostalgic after shooting in Thailand, as before he became an actor he had spent a few years in Thailand. Akshay had gone to Bangkok to learn martial arts and he stayed there for five years. He also worked as a chef and waiter, to support himself.

Talking about shooting the stunts in Bangkok, Akshay Kumar said,” I always have a lot of fun doing my own stunts. Rohit is anyway a class apart when it comes to action in his films. And doing these bike stunts on the streets of Bangkok was extra special. Many years back I would ride a bike in Bangkok to deliver food. Now I am doing the same all over again, to earn my food (laughs).”

Akshay is playing the role of ATS chief, Veer Sooryavanshi in the film. He will be seen romancing Katrina Kaif in the much-anticipated movie and Neena Gupta is playing his mother in it. Sooryavanshi is slated to release on May 21, 2020.
