Akshay Kumar And Twinkle Khanna In Legal Soup For Planning To Auction ‘Rustom’ Navy Uniform

A few days back, starry couple Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna faced flak for planning to auction the naval uniform work by Akshay in ‘Rustom’ for charity and now, we have heard that the duo has been served with a legal notice.

Lt Col Sandeep Ahlawat and his batchmates are filing a Public Interest Litigation in the Bombay High Court against the actor and his wife for besmirching the sanctity of an uniform by attempting to sell a piece of film memorabilia as an ‘actual naval officer uniform’.

A few days back, Ahlawat had taken to Facebook to lash out at Twinkle and she had retorted, threatening legal action. On his part, Akshay said at an event, “I stand by my wife 100 percent. We have taken this decision to auction the costume that I wore in the film for a noble cause and I don’t believe we have done anything wrong by taking this decision. If anyone is offended by this, I can’t do anything about it.”
