Aishwarya Rai Bachchan To Romance Shahid Kapoor In Woh Kaun Thi Remake?

We had reported a few days ago that the makers of Shahid Kapoor starrer Batti Gul Meter Chalu have acquired the remake rights of Woh Kaun Thi and that Shahid is being considered to play the male lead, which was played by Manoj Kumar in the original.

Now, we hear that the makers are keen to sign Aishwarya Rai Bachchnan to play the female protagonist in the remake of the classic thriller and if she agrees to be a part of the project, she will reprise Sadhana’s role from the 1964 thriller. Reportedly, the remake will also feature two iconic songs from the film, ‘Lag Jaa Gale’ and ‘Naina Barse’.


Interestingly, Shahid was one of the background dancers in Aishwarya Rai’s Taal. Kapoor has surely come a long way, since then.
