Band Baaja Baaraat's Tamil version Aaha Kalyanam may be a direct lift in terms of story and scenes, but the songs are a different ball game altogether.

The Punch song is an amalgamation of funny lyrics and peppy composition. The song is used in place of Band Baaja Baaraat's Dum dum. The setting is the sangeet ceremony before the wedding.

Vaani is wearing the same outfit as Anushka Sharma in the original. While Vaani looks hotter than Anushka, the choreography puts the latter in a better position. Nani doesn't impress much as a dancer, but the antics in the song are definitely worth a watch.

The number is high on energy and will connect well with the youth.

All in all, the Punch song from Aaha Kalyanam has its quirks but is very youth pro and we like it.
