On the night of 29–30 August, China tried to infiltrate Pangong. Chinese soldiers came to the mountainous areas with rope and climbing tools. According to sources, the number of infiltrated Chinese soldiers was 500. But this time also Indian soldiers pushed the Chinese soldiers back.

29-30 अगस्त की रात को चीन ने पैंगोंग में घुसपैठ करने की कोशिश की. चीन के सैनिक पहाड़ी इलाकों में रस्सी व चढ़ाई के औजारों के साथ आए थे. सूत्रों के मुताबिक घुसपैठ करने वाले चीनी सैनिकों की संख्या 500 थी. लेकिन इस बार भी भारतीय सैनिकों ने चीनी सेनिकों को पीछे धकेल दिया.
