Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s upcoming fantasy-drama Brahmastra has got the audiences all excited and as the logo of the Ayan Mukerji-directed film was unveiled, last night, at the Kumbh Mela, we bring you ten interesting facts about the film, which you probably didn’t know.


1. It has been announced as a film trilogy and Brahmastra is the first instalment.

2. Reportedly, Amitabh Bachchan is playing the role of Lord Brahma and Mouni Roy is playing his daughter Poulomi.

3. Buzz has it that Nagarjuna is playing Lord Vishnu in the movie.

4. While earlier reports suggested that the film is based on a book, Karan Johar revealed that it’s an original story and that director-writer Ayaan Mukerji took six years to write it.

5. The trilogy will be made over a period of 10 years.

6. Naagin star Mouni Roy is playing the antagonist in the film.

7. The logo of the film was created in the sky with the help of a swarm of lit up drones at the Kumbh Mela, on the occasion of Maha Shivratri.

8. WWE star Saurav Gurjar is playing a negative role in the movie and will be locking horns with Ranbir Kapoor.

9. Farah Khan will be directing and choreographing a song for the fantasy-drama.

10. President of India, Ram Nath Kovind and Bulgarian President Rumen Radev had dropped by on the sets of Brahmastra while the film’s team was shooting in Bulgaria in September 2018.
