‘Bhavesh Joshi Superhero’ Trailer Is Similar To Hollywood Film ‘Kick-Ass’

Bhavesh Joshi, who made a disastrous debut with ‘Mirzya’, will be next seen in Vikramaditya Motwane’s vigilante flick ‘Bhavesh Joshi-Superhero’ and the trailer of the film was released today afternoon.

The trailer features Harshvardhan as a common youngster, who teams up with his two friends to expose corruption on a local level with the help of a camera and a YouTube page. However, things get grim when his friends are attacked by a local politician’s goons, compelling Harsh’s character Bhavesh Joshi to seriously start training to be a vigilante and deliver justice with the help of his fists and a bike.

Though the trailer is decent enough, I couldn’t help but be reminded of Matthew Vaughn’s action-comedy ‘Kick-Ass’ starring Nicolas Cage, Aaron Johnson, Mark Strong and others, which revolved around a bunch of teenagers playing at being superheroes and getting entangled in a world of crime.

Presented by Eros International & Phantom, Bhavesh Joshi Superhero is directed by Vikramaditya Motwane starring Harshvardhan Kapoor and is slated to release on 25th May. The film is produced by Eros International, Reliance Entertainment, Vikas Bahl, Madhu Mantena and Anurag Kashyap.
