Sant Ram Singh shoots himself at Kundli Border Delhi.
New Delhi, December 16, 2020 : Sant Ram Singh from Karnal shot dead himself at protest site of farmers here today. He was rushed to a Panipat hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.
He has left a suicide note in which he said that he was too much pained to see farmers protesting like this for getting their rights.
Sant Ram Singh was in Delhi supporting the farmers since quite some time. He mentioned in his suicide note that he is unable to see the state of farmers in Delhi. He said that the Centre is paying no heed to the ongoing protest and is not worried about the farmers, children and women suffering in Delhi.

Meanwhile, Haryana has put up road barricades to seal its borders with Punjab for the next two days, to stop the farmers from their onwards march to Delhi.

Haryana police used water cannons on the protesting farmers to disperse and stop them from going to Delhi. Also, prohibitory orders under Section 144 of the CrPC wa imposed in several parts of the state to prevent assembly of protesters. The bus service to Punjab from Haryana for November 26 and 27 has been suspended
