Tension in Punjab Congress as Navjot Singh Sidhu meets ministers, MLAs
Sources said Navjot Singh Sidhu, who had been openly critical of the Chief Minister, had meetings with a couple of ministers and some MLAs to plan their strategy.
3 ministers seek action against Navjot Singh Sidhu.
The political turmoil in the Punjab Congress deepened today with three Cabinet ministers — Brahm Mohindra, Sunder Sham Arora and Sadhu Singh Dharamsot — urging the party high command to take strict disciplinary action against senior party leader Navjot Singh Sidhu, even as three other ministers — Sukhjinder Randhawa, Charanjit Channi, Gurpreet Kangar — and MPs Partap Bajwa and Ravneet Bittu held a meeting here to discuss the situation arising out of a delay in action in the sacrilege and subsequent police firing cases.
