देश के विभिन्न राज्यों में हिंदुओं (Hindu) को अल्पसंख्यक घोषित करने पर चल रही बहस के बीच केंद्र सरकार ने अपना स्टैंड क्लियर किया है. केंद्र सरकार का कहना है कि राज्य सरकारें अगर चाहें तो अपनी सीमा में हिंदू समेत किसी भी समुदाय को आंकड़ों के आधार पर अल्पसंख्यक घोषित कर सकती हैं.
