ये Tyre है या गोला | 5 Future Tires That Will Blow Your Mind
.
Good Year Spherical Tyre - American manufacturer Goodyear has unveiled a concept for a "visionary" sphere-shaped tyre that could make driverless cars safer and smoother to run (+ movie).
The concept for the Eagle-360 tyres is on show at this year's Geneva Motor Show, and designed specifically for self-driving vehicles.
Each spherical tyre would be suspended from the car by magnetic fields – using similar technology to magnetic levitation (maglev) trains. According to Goodyear, this will increase passenger comfort and reduce noise.
Its tread would be 3D printed, and customised to suit the driver's habits and location.
.
Tweel Tyre - The Tweel (a portmanteau of tire and wheel) is an airless tire design developed by the French tire company Michelin. Its significant advantage over pneumatic tires is that the Tweel does not use a bladder full of compressed air, and therefore cannot burst, leak pressure, or become flat.
Instead, the Tweels hub is connected to the rim via flexible polyurethane spokes which fulfil the shock-absorbing role provided by the compressed air in a traditional tire. - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tweel
.
Oxygen Tyre - Goodyear has been at the forefront of tyre technology and the company has been showcasing a whole bunch of concepts over the years . It's come out with one more and it was introduced at the 2018 Geneva International Motor Show and with this one, the company literally brings the future of mobility to life as a visionary solution for cleaner, more convenient, safer and more sustainable urban mobility.
The concept is called Oxygene and has a unique structure that features living moss growing within the sidewall. This open structure and the tyre's tread design absorb and circulate moisture and water from the road surface, allowing photosynthesis to occur and therefore releasing oxygen into the air. - https://bit.ly/2pwd2ZA
