Concerns are growing over the detention of eight former Indian Navy officials who have been detained by the intelligence agencies in Qatar. Last week, the Indian government sent high-ranking officials to Doha, Qatar's capital to secure the release of these Indian nationals.

कतर में हिरासत में लिये गए आठ पूर्व भारतीय नौसेना अधिकारियों को लेकर चिंताएं बढ़ती जा रही हैं. इन अधिकारियों को कतर की इंटेलीजेंस एजेंसी ने हिरासत में लिया हुआ है. भारत सरकार का कहना है कि उसने सर्वोच्‍च रैंक वाले अधिकारियों को दोहा भेजा है ताकि इन भारतीय नागरिकों की आजादी सुनिश्चित की जा सके.
