Ahead of the inauguration of Nepal’s new Pokhara airport, in a surprise announcement on Saturday, the Chinese Embassy in Kathmandu tweeted, “This (Pokhara airport) is the flagship project of the China-Nepal Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) cooperation says report.
