India's nuclear ballistic missile submarine INS Arihant successfully test-fired a ballistic missile on Friday, a major milestone as earlier test-firings were done from fixed underwater pontoons; this time the submarine itself launched the missile.

भारतीय नौसेना (Indian Navy) ने बंगाल की खाड़ी में आज यानी 14 अक्टूबर 2022 को परमाणु पनडुब्बी आईएनएस अरिहंत (INS Arihant) से एक मिसाइल दागी. मिसाइल की रेंज पहले से तय कर दी गई थी. मिसाइल ने टारगेट पर अत्यधिक सटीकता के साथ हमला किया. यह परीक्षण सिर्फ इसलिए किया गया था ताकि नौसैनिकों की तैयारी और अलर्टनेस देखी जा सके. साथ ही मिसाइल की तकनीकी की जांच की जा सके
