The Russian Foreign Ministry has rejected China's apparent claim of ownership over a disputed island that has been a source of tension between Moscow and Beijing for decades. Earlier this week, the Chinese Communist Party mouthpiece Global Times newspaper published the "2023 edition of China's standard map," crediting the Ministry of Natural Resources.

चीन (China) ने पिछले हफ्ते 28 अगस्त को एक नया मैप जारी किया था, जिसमें उन्होंने भारत के अरुणाचल प्रदेश और अक्साई चिन को अपना हिस्सा दिखाया था. इसके अलावा उन्होंने रूसी (Russia) क्षेत्र को भी मैप में अपने हिस्से के रूप में जारी किया था. इसको लेकर रूस ने चीन के दावों को खारिज कर दिया. आपको बता दें कि अब तक रूस और भारत के अलावा इंडोनेशिया, फिलीपींस, मलेशिया, नेपाल और ताइवान ने नए मैप का विरोध दर्ज कर चुके हैं.
