Thousands of Russians and Ukrainians staying in Sri Lanka on extended visas due to the war have been asked to leave the island nation within two weeks, officials said.

श्रीलंका ने युद्ध के कारण विस्तारित वीजा पर देश में रह रहे हजारों रूसी और यूक्रेनियाई पर्यटकों को दो सप्ताह के भीतर देश छोड़ने के लिए कहा है. अधिकारियों ने बताया कि इमिग्रेशन कंट्रोलर ने पर्यटन मंत्रालय को एक नोटिस जारी कर सूचित किया है. इसी बीच नौकरी के लालच में रूस की सेना में फंसे भारतीयों के मामले को लेकर भी भारतीय विदेश मंत्रालय भी रूस की सरकार के सामने उठा दिया है ताकि उन्हे जल्दी से भारत वापस लाया जा सके.
