बाबा राम रहीम सिंह को दस साल की सजा | Gurmeet Ram Rahim Sentenced To 10 Years In Jail For Rape

Spiritual leader Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, who had directed, produced and acted in five unintentionally hilarious films, was sentenced to 10 years in jail today by the CBI court for the rape of two of his female followers.

Reportedly, Ram Rahim broke down in court when the verdict was announced and pleaded for a lighter sentence in light of his health. The controversial godman was sentenced at a jail in Rohtak, Haryana by Judge Jagdeep Singh, who flew down by helicopter to conduct a prison-side court hearing. The prison, where the verdict was handed down, was heavily guarded by military forces and no civilians were allowed within 10 kilometres of the prison. On Friday, over a lakh of Ram Rahim's followers gathered in Panchkula and turned violent when he was convicted, resulting in deaths of 38 people injuries to over 200.

Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh is known for his films such as ‘MSG-The Messenger’, ‘MSG-The Messenger 2’ ‘MSG The Warrior-Lionheart’, ‘MSG Lionheart-Hind Ka Napak To Jawab’ and ‘Jattu Engineer’.
