Daanveer is a 1996 drama starring Mithun Chakraborty, Ronit Roy, Rambha, Gulshan Grover and others. Vijay is an orphan who drives an auto-rickshaw in order to raise his younger siblings. He gets his sister Sudha married to Anil. Sudha comes home as she is expecting a child. But Vijay soon comes to know that Anil threw Sudha out of the house as he suspected her of having an affair and is getting married again himself. Vijay's brother Vishal falls in love with Jyoti.
