उत्तर प्रदेश के अलीगढ़ का नाम बदलने को लेकर एक बार फिर से राजनीति शुरू हो गई है. सोमवार को नवगठित जिला पंचायत की बोर्ड बैठक में जिले का नाम बदलकर हरिगढ़ किए जाने के प्रस्ताव को पास किया गया. सदन में मौजूद जिला पंचायत सदस्यों व जनप्रतिनिधियों ने इस पर अपनी सहमति जताई. अब ये प्रस्ताव शासन को भेजा गया है.

Politics has started once again to change the name of Aligarh in Uttar Pradesh. The proposal to change the name of the district to Harigarh was passed in the board meeting of the newly formed district panchayat on Monday. District Panchayat members and public representatives present in the house expressed their consent on this. Now, this proposal has been sent to the government.
