शराब के नशे में वाहन चलाना न्यायालय चालान द्वारा दंडनीय है। पहले अपराध के मामले में, एक व्यक्ति को ₹10,000 का जुर्माना या छह महीने तक की कैद या दोनों का सामना करना पड़ सकता है। दूसरे और बाद के अपराधों के लिए, ₹15,000 का जुर्माना या दो साल तक की कैद या दोनों लागू हैं।

Driving under the influence of alcohol is punishable by a court challan. In case of first offence, a person is liable to pay a fine of ₹10,000 or face imprisonment up to six months or both. For second and subsequent offenses, a fine of ₹15,000 or imprisonment up to two years or both are applicable.
