In India, at least five policemen have been killed in firing on each other by the police of the states of Assam-Mizoram. Officials from both sides, including chief ministers, accused each other of inciting violence. Assam shares a 164 km (about 101 mi) border with Mizoram, and both states oppose its demarcation.

भारत में असम-मिजोरम राज्यों की पुलिस द्वारा एक-दूसरे पर की गई गोलीबारी में कम से कम पांच पुलिसकर्मियों की मौत हो गई है। मुख्यमंत्रियों समेत दोनों पक्षों के अधिकारियों ने एक दूसरे पर हिंसा भड़काने का आरोप लगाया। असम मिजोरम के साथ 164 किमी (लगभग 101 मील) की सीमा साझा करता है, और दोनों राज्य इसके सीमांकन का विरोध करते हैं।
